Applied moderm management theory

    Which principles of modern management theory can be applied in a healthcare/related setting? general systems theory,contingency theory, transaction cost economics,resource dependence theory,institutional theory, population ecology.Modern Management Theories started in the 1950s, but do you consider this to be modern?  There are three major components that you want to focus on.  1. Quantitative theory, SystemApproach and  Contingency Theory. Please provide one example of each.
